Steam Gains Steam

Valve Partners With Limelight Networks to Take On-Line Gaming to the Next Level (thanks Frans) is the press release announcing that Valve's Steam broadband delivery system has added a new partner to bolster its bandwidth, praising the "expansive network and efficient architecture" of Limelight Networks, calling the network the "first hosting partners" (implying other partners may yet be added). The Steam Network Status Page already reflects the addition of some new servers.

I was a developer for GT Interactive and I loved working on games all day. It sucked when they would make us push them out the door when more work could be done, but yell at the publishers, the dev's do it because they love it.
