Rock Star Games

First we had Rockstar games, now come rock star games, as: "Joe Perry, famed guitarist from Aerosmith, has launched his own brand of hot sauce called The Boneyard Brew. The top notch game designers at Star Mountain Studios have concocted a dish of their own inspired by this tasty sauce, a game called Genie Joe and the Axeman. This fast paced arcade style game features Chef Anthony, an intrepid saucier who must race around several far flung landscapes gathering up all the ingredients he needs to make Joe’s famous brew. The evil Axeman, a quirky character who fancies himself a rival to Joe Perry, has sent out his legion of sour note minions to thwart Anthony. Joe Perry makes an appearance in the game as a dark but whimsical animated magical genie with the power to assist Anthony in his quest for the perfect hot sauce. The game will debut in early 2004, on the Ashley Food website and the Star Mountain Studios website. It will be playable online for the MAC or PC as a free game." Meanwhile, The Adrenaline Vault News (thanks space captain) has this:
Blabbermouth.net reports KORN frontman Jonathan Davis is developing a video game called Pop Scars in which trendy musicians pummel each other Soul Calibur-style within intricately designed worlds. The game is slated to feature musicians such as Mary J. Blige and Limp Bizkit. Davis said he's been involved in every part of the development process and is currently meeting with different game makers to find a home for the product.
