Counter-Strike Cash Correction

The Steam Users Forums (thanks Tiscali Games) titled "New Money System on de_ maps the 14th" describes plans to change the money system in Counter-Strike in an upcoming update, quoting an Erik Johnson post from Gotfrag saying: "We're still working out the specifics, but the intention is to make the tactic of waiting for the round to end on the T side a disincentive. We'll also change the round timer to shut off once the bomb has been planted on de_ maps."

CS is still the most playeds games on the net and still f*ucking old :p ! If i was a person that makes multiplayer games i would be concern that a 8 years old games is still there cause a little mod is the most played games...

i'm ''just'' a gamer so i actually played cs for about 4-5 years and im not gonna glock someone on the streets(Refering to gta federal law suit) this bomb fix should have been done a few years ago seriously... CS need to get to the next level of multiplayer gaming. Im playing a lot of CS but i still think there's a lot of update to do on it.
Im a fan but not a sellout.

Fuck those campers !!! :p

Who ever told you life was fair ?

Life is a gamble play it hard :p

I completely agree with you!

I don't mind people making a buck to sell admin, but if they are going to do that then it should be Credit Card only. This would remove a major percentage of younger kids, but not all.

Still, if you are making money, then why would you care? That's really the problem.

I mailed an admin leader & stated that two of his admins were abusing their priveldges. I gave examples, names, times, Steam ID #s. I did my homework. The admin leader replied, "STFU! I don't give a rat's ass what happened. Fuck you!"

So, this might be like the next stage of cheating. If all cheating was removed, I'm positive that people with $5 a month to spare would definately do this. Plus, for power-hungry feebs with low-count brain cells, this is better than cheating. Here, instead of being bitched at, they will be pratically worshipped to prevent random bans and this would be even more true on mods where there is saved experience points.

I don't think this will get any better & it will likely get a whole lot worse. The good news is that there are so many servers to make favorites & only play there. If you make 25 favorites at good servers, chances are that you won't ever see these pathetic, self-indulgent, low IQ, low self-esteem, asswipes.

As it is, when the round times out on hostage rescue maps, the CT's lose and they don't get as much $$$ as T.

Now if they would do something about punk kid "admins". I was "slayed" the other day by the "admin" for "camping" on cs_assualt map.

I was a TERRORIST

fuking 12yr olds pay $5 to be admin then slay whoever kills them.

I think it's good that they penalise the T's if the round times out on DE_ maps.

of course, they should also penalise the CT's if the round times out on hostage rescue maps...

need to encourage the proactive side to actually attack...

This is excellent news.

Now if they would only use Steam to actually stop cheaters then developers would take Steam seriously. I mean, if you have a game like Call of Duty that runs on Steam & no one cheats because if they do they get permanently banned from multi-player, then no one will buy Medal of Honor & instead they will buy Call of Duty. The ebay prices for Medal of Honor will go to $5. The ebay prices for Call of Duty will remain at $30.

What company would you want to be?

I still love playing CS... truly good games never go out of style...

Is this the patch that is going to make CS fun? Oh, wait, CS is already fun. In fact it's still a great game. (though it does seem to be about time that the bombplant time issue is fixed).
