Out of the Blue

The calendar says it's December 30, but the thermometer reads 50° Fahrenheit. Trying to correlate these contradictory facts is making me feel like the AI at the end of the Mudd's Women episode of Star Trek trying to correlate the "I am lying" lie. Bzzzt! Bzzzt!

There is no shame in knowing how good Star Trek can be, as long as it's TNG and not that one which dared not to feature Enterprise. I've even started to like this one with Scott Bakula and I'd like to thank my local TV network for once again finishing a season in the middle of a two part episode... They ended 2000 with part 1 of the 'Best of both worlds' and, from memory, failed to start the following season with part 2. Someone should screw the programme directors at GTV9 with a very big and sharp stick!

Also... why still no Quantum Leap on DVD?!

I can't recall a specific JediLuke Vs. The Dude encounter, but I can certainly remember a few of The Dude's more entertaining moments.. Two years back, one of his posts really did cost me a $2144.00 Sony monitor.
It's always good to see the wisdom of the AntiELVIS on the boards, although I'm also offering a vote for his return to Gracelessland, too. I learned a lot about things that interest me from that site... of course, I'm assuming he knew what he was talking about....%)
