Black & White Tools

Lionhead has released the developer tools for Black & White, their god game (thanks Tiscali Games) on this Black & White Page. Here's the accompanying note: "Lots of people have been waiting for these, and now here they are; the BWDevNet Tools for Black&White. They are designed to work with the latest version of Creature Isle and won’t work if you don’t have Creature Isle installed. Apart from that you will also need the latest patch of B&W. Additional information and feedback can be found on our boards."

Hardly. Just because it was a disappointment, and the single player game wasn't that great, doesn't make it one of the worst games ever. It's got one of the best graphical and physics engines ever. Plus in the sandbox mode with just your creature, and the first two levels, it's an awesome game.

Oh, I dunno.. You can get B&W and Creature Isle for about a buck fifty these days. Might be worth playing with.

Awesome! Now I can finally make that effigy of Molyneux so my creature can fling its poo at it!

LOL it only works with Creature Isle... was anybody pathetic enough to have seriously bought that horrid waste of a perfectly good CD? At least the normal game was somewhat fun in its originality... Creature Isle was the worst thing to happen to PC Gaming since Daikatana.

"maybe they should be trying to finish off b&w2 instead of pissing round on tools for a game that no fucker is playing anymore. of course, they could be releasing the tools for b&w1 as the sequel has been delayed ?"

Maybe they would if they could get PM's head back out of his own arse - I do believe he put it there to stem the flow of money coming from his poo pipe due to the amount of time B&W2 is taking!

Then again, PM may not have been around for a while - he may have been giving one of his legendary interviews in which he talks for a few weeks about his utter genius and how he B&W was an original concept yadda yadda yadda
