Make sure you head over to http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm to disable some of the bloat that comes with XP.
If you have room for another hard drive you can always do what I did and buy the OEM version of XP and put it on a new hard drive.
The only down side to using the OEM version of XP is that you don't get any support from Microsoft - they expect you to call the maker of your computer.
