But the game ran absolutely fine for me.

Yeah same here. I have a slightly faster processor though. I could run it at 1024 as long as I disabled AF and AA. It ran practically as smoothly as it did on the XBox.

I had fun with it actually, for 2 weeks.

but it still looked perfect <------LOL

Well most of us stoped playing 6 x 8, 6 or more years ago, not that really means anything other than we can play better games at higher resolution 16 x 12 and have been for at least 3 years. There is a difference in visually quality. Example Max Payne 2 runs 16 x 12 about 50fps, where Halo runs at 15 if your your lucky at 8 x 6. People with 3gig machines cant run this at 10 x 7 with above 30fps.

I'm not running a great computer, AMD 1.4 w/512 and a GeForce 3.

But the game ran absolutely fine for me. I kept it in a lower resolution, but it still looked perfect.

Doesn't change that I got bored of single player after 3 days and multiplayer after another week and a half, but...

So does this fix the sloppy code and piss-poor performance? I didin't see anything like that in the patch notes.

I think he meant 14th place in the number of players which could still be in the hundreds....not 14 ppl

I wonder when (or if) they'll be offering the editing tools for this.

It seems that some pretty sweet mods could be made.

Hey, my only complaint ever with Halo was the audigy bug. and this patch fixes it.

of course, since i've finished the game long ago. just that one bug being fixed doesn't give me much incentive to play it again.

too little too late microsoft....you screwed the pooch!

This magical patch contains multitudes of pixies who regale you with whimsical anecdotes while fixing all of your PC's problems...orrrrrr its a 4 meg patch that doesn't do jack to fix your problems. You decide.
