What MB do you have Draft? I usually hop on new drivers as soon as they come out. VIA 4in1's haven't had a problem like this in a while.

FIC AN19C. Got it cheap in a bundle with my current proc, sinece I couldn't find the Asus A7N8X at the time. Like I said, I've yet to have a problem, and according those posts, it's older chipsets (KT266, etc.) that have been having problems.

I'm also a driver whore, and always try to have the latest release.
