this game was great, felt great and it was realistic without being overly slugish, best iron sights, and awesome multiplayer (way better then CS, CoD, Mohaa, RTWC, ect) unfortunitly it never really caught on which was a absolute shame.
I still have it here. its pretty realistic and quite hard. still havent completed it because of the difficulty, but I should some time battlefield vietnam is arcade compared to this one.

I have given up on waiting for BIS to come back to their senses and do a real ArmA 2 successor.
I totally agree with ssh. This game felt great...really tense. The best single-player war-based FPS I've ever played (and yes, I've played MoHAA and CoD...thought they were a little bland). This game was awesome...and the tunes were great!

I played the demo and found it good but not amazing. I'm glad that you think it's great though, because the videocard I'm going to purchase for my new computer comes bundled with the game.

I've talked here about how much I like VC before. Basically, of any attempted-realism FPS that I've played, this "feels" the best. You have decent control over your character, the weapons recoil nicely, when you zoom in, you actually move the gun up to your face and look down the sights. Great music too.
It wasn't perfect, but like BIS, Pterdon are one to watch.
