Out of the Blue

It seems like it was only just a year ago that it was my birthday, but dang it if it's not my birthday again! This actually is no small point of concern, because I've seen some very strong evidence that having too many of these things is almost invariably fatal, so I'm really considering cutting down. I'll probably just cast that concern aside for the day and celebrate the occasion with dinner and a few drinks, but after the hubbub dies down, I'm going to look into getting onto the birthday equivalent of the do-not-call list and see if it's possible to avoid them going forward.

Play Time: Seamonster.

I had no idea people would wish me happy b-day as well.

What did I get (besides a bit looped?)? well, it's doubtful anyone will read this, but... (birthdays get more droll as you approach 30 - sorry to all those that passed it ahead of me two more years) the only real notable things were book: "Mythology - the DC comics art of Alex Ross", dvd(s):"T3" (and Eraser) and cd:"Elvis - 2nd to none". And my wife managed to surprise me with surprise guest appearances from my family, bearing gifts & supper.

Happy unbirthday to everyone else.

Well I hope Blue is innoculously driving around brooklyn in November on a Harley with a couple chicks on the back and and that he is not now paying his debts in hell for trying to swindle the Devil out of another birthday. Hope he knocked on wood.

He's a party animal! Seriously, he might be having a get together with his family today...hell, he deserves a day or three off here and there...

Blue,
Imagine my suprise when I hit your page (as I've done for the last 4 years) and see that Nov. 21 is your birthday as it is mine. Don't know how I never caught it before...

Kind of cool knowing you were born on the last day of the scorpion. How old are you? I'm gonna freak if you say 31.

Congrads another year of insightfulness and congrads on a terrific b-day. However, the sad fact is that I no longer get my news here. I've been forcefully ejected to look elsewhere. But we all must move on and grow. Have a happy healthy birthday with your fam o lee and enjoy your Turkey day!

Who saw ER last night? Shocking. Secret Text:

Yeah, it was weird how they used another helicopter accident to finish him; it's like the helicopters were out to get him or something. They had to kill him off though, I was suprised that they kept him around this long after hacking off his arm...

And what's up with that cut to Carter pining away with some slutty in the background?

"a good friend headed up north to work on the Hellboy movie"

'What's he doing?'

Visual effects for a company called the Orphanage (they did most of the effects in the new trailer.) It's a bunch of guys that left ILM a few years ago. Most of my friends in LA have moved on to ILM or the O, and I'm following in about a month. After nearly a decade, I've had my fill of LA (and then some.) I don't do the VFX thing anymore myself though, got tired of the clients. Now I write software that caters to the VFX industry...it's much more fun

Happy birthday, yo.

Auction: WTF, mate. That woman was not all that attractive, although she obviously thinks otherwise. I mean, she was ok, but not hot enough to be prancing about all scantily clad like that and expect people to get turned on or whatever.

Teacher suspended: That's stupid. The kids knew what they were doing and some didn't participate. Sounds like an interesting teacher and they should let him get back to his class.

Back to DX2...

that game was pretty cool... however, after all the cool video clips and whatnot included, i expected a better ending than the "Well done, you cracked it!" message you get for winning!!
