Man, over at the Eidos forums, there were people complaining about the game not running on these ungodly, weird sized resolutions. Believe me, this game runs more acceptably at 1024x768 and below than one may believe! I'm not a hardcore performance geek, so it doesn't bother me to say you're not getting that much more quality out of a high rez rendering!

Hmm... got AMD-2400+ and radeon 9800pro and 1024ddr and laging at medium graphics... this suxx

Change your screen res and then change it back...someone said it made a difference for them...

I don't know, for a game that I want SO badly as I do Deus Ex : IW, I never tend to play a demo. The level(s) you get in the demo are always spoiled, and sometimes they're out of context, and it just gives me a "yawn, not this level" once I play the final version and I come to the demo level.

Besides, playing KotOR and soon X2, I doubt I'll have much time for this demo anyways. Hordes of the Underdark comes out in two weeks as well, when am I going to play all this stuff?

I've got four days off next week though, only have to work monday, so I'm thinking KotOR is going to see a lot of action. Hopefully they'll get X2 in the stores before Thanksgiving as well.

Well I'm heading to bed in a few minutes it's my hope when I get up tomorrow morning I'll be able to download the demo. Shit my Civics teacher probably isn't going to like the explanation that I blew off an important assignment to wait for a demo that wasn't released.

Krypt from Ion Storm is reporting that Fileplanet has had the demo for several hours. It's in Gamespy's court now.

I just hope there are mirrors up quickly....:)
