Indeed, the exact opposite of what ATI wanted to achieve with monthly driver release happened... It's no longer: "wow, a new catalyst version has been released" but rather it's: "does this new version finally fix the bug in game xyz?"
Worms 3D still stutters and Call of Duty still crashes (BTW it's probably just one of the best games released thîs year). So much for the best industry driver support!
Why do we always have to wait for a new catalyst version to be able to play the latest released game?
I'm honestly thinking of reinserting my 5900 Ultra into my PC. What good is a fast card if you are unable to play many some games issue free? The latest Forceware driver may have their share of issues but it's nothing like the catalyst drivers.
ATI, why can't you just release mature drivers? And don't come now with if you have problems with latest 3.8 and 3.9 drivers, just install older ones... my 9800 XT is not support by drivers prior to 3.8!
