which will automatically install when the client software is launched, addresses
a few more issues and adds some ATI rebate product keys.

I used to be a Steam hater. I installed a fresh OS and Steam. It's not so bad. I still dislike the control loss, however, have you seen the front end to FFXI mmorpg? OMG. It makes Steam look VERY good in comparison. Specifically, the FFXI front end has way, way too many layers to it. Steam is great. I still don't trust it, but it could have been much worse.
As stated previously, Steam is a pile of urine in gel form. Steam was originally used as anal lube for Gabe Newell's reluctant hindquarters.

Not if you use a latex glove, you're a doctor, and they've come in for an intestinal problem or you need a stool sample & can't wait until they're ready.
