The name H&D is coop and the name coop is H&D, to have a sequal without coop is not a sequal, they should have renamed the game cos it's certainly not Hidden and Dangerous2. I won't be buying it until coop is released and I mean proper coop, not some shitty expansion with 5 or 6 coop missions like Vietcong, I want full campaign coop.

I'm not getting sound issues at all on my Nforce 2 soundcard (home machine) or on my Audigy (work PC) so maybe its a driver issue or settings that you need to change locally on your PC ? I did have to upgrade both video and sound to play H&D2.

Another idea is to maybe hit the disable eax/turn it on to see if that fixes it (seems to enable it by default even if you don't have that feature)

An excellent game anyway - really enjoying it, much better than the first imo. Co-op out of the box would have been nice, but since there is little else out on the SP front at the mo' player action its not that much of a problem (yet)

Oh i love this game alright,but they better do something about the sound bugs,things like sound effects getting cut off,or not even playing really detracts from the excellent atmosphere of the game.

Suprised no one even made a mention about it when it is so glaring in compared to the AI bugs etc.

I am just as disappointed about the coop missing.

Even so, its been well worth every dime for the SP alone for me. I just finished the SP and eagerly await the expansion.

I dont have the trouble with the AI that I hear about, but perhaps that is due to the way I play it and they have done the job for the most part that I assign them to do.

I havent tried the tactical mode yet, but its great that there is so many different options in how to play the game.

h&d2 is awesome. I dont like the stupid teammates so i played through lone wolf, but its the best single player game ive played. Co-op would be amazing.

Games are about entertaining, Playing a co-op game with a few good friends can make a huge difference in how much fun is derived from it.

They obviously knew this, it was clearly apparent in alot of reviews and all the feedback for the first game, everyone loved the co-op. With that knowledge they still decided not to include it in 2? In fact they tried to hide that decision if i remember correctly, as if they knew it would piss alot of people off.

Any game maker that would knowingly take away that much more "entertainment value" out of their product isnt getting a penny from me.

I have no doubt the game is great, like I said I've bought every other H&D game made, and loved them. I know I'm missing out on a great single player game, it's just that I feel a statement should be made. That's our right, and our duty really...if you don't approve of a game then the only way you can make a statement that will garner attention to the manufacturers is not to buy it.

If they would go ahead and say that a future add-on will include co-op, I'd go ahead and buy it on their word (even though they've lied in the past on such issues). As long as they are vague about co-op (as they were leading up to the game's release), I'll just hold off with my money or find other ways to play the SP.

All alone far as im concerned.

WTF cares abut co-op when i personally never rely on others to mask or hide bad or good AI.

H&D and devils bridge was good single player game and H&D 2 simply is the best single player squad based tact game ive had the pleasure of playing.

So dont buy it if you dont want to its a free world, you can do what ya like but im glad i bought it and am playing a great follow up to what was and still is a great release.

Also good tact shooter are Raven Shield, Rainbow Six Rouge Ops and Doom LOL but to be honest go buy the game i promise you wont regret it and im sure they will put co-op in a future patch but dont do harm to yourself by not buying a game I know youll love.

They damn well better put co-op into an expansion pack if they want to earn my $, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I bought all 3 of the original HD games, and I'd gladly fork over my money if they included coop...which is what I consider the most enjoyable part of the H&D franchise.
