Ships 'Dark Age of Camelot Trials of Atlantis' (thanks Frans) has more
shipping news, announcing the availability of the new expansion for Mythic
Entertainment's MMORPG. Here's word: "Mythic Entertainment, developer and
publisher of the award-winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game 'Dark
Age of Camelot,' announced today that the game's latest expansion pack, Trials
of Atlantis,' is available in stores. In 'Trials of Atlantis,' players will
journey to the mysterious underwater world of Atlantis, and experience the
trials designed to protect the legendary civilization's secrets. Intense group
play, three all new races, and amazing next-generation graphics that update the
entire 'Dark Age of Camelot' world make this expansion a must-have for all fans
of the game. As a bonus, the Trials of Atlantis' retail box also includes a
separate disc with the original 'Dark Age of Camelot' game."

What are you talking about? Last Time I looked Daoc still had alot of people playing?
And I don't think the armor looks goofy. I like it. It gives the players more ways to look unique.
I wouldn't buy this tho because, anyone with 2 accounts needs 2 original cds and 2 expasion cds. So forget about playing on a lan or with family if you want to spend less than $500. Most of the people in your alliance and guild probably aren't going to buy the expansion. So you'll end up wandering around the new lands all by yourself, While your guild is off killing giant elephants. And please. Some people don't want to spend 2 years getting lvl 50

Why put all this effort into the world when the characters & wardrobe looks like it came from circa 1995.

I burned my copy months ago in my fireplace and dont regret it one bit.

Hmmm. Reading the info, I guess the servers are bing updated today. Cool. 
Hmm, I guess I might run out to see if I can pick it up (though I doubt many, if any places have it yet).
