It can be pretty scary falling asleep with the TV
on and waking up to realize you've been watching (at least in your sleep) infomercials. The last time I
recall this happening I was being pitched to by the juiceman... the one I
awakened to today was trying to introduce me to the marvelous opportunities for
investment represented by uncirculated state quarters. That one is only slightly
creepy, but who knows what preceded it? I might be a walking time bomb, ready to
do the insidious bidding of Carlton Sheets, Tony Robbins, or Richard Simmons.

Oh, hell yeah. best bi has a limited 5th disc, too...ToD sucked, but the other two were classics.

Did anyone notice the site is no longer up? just a blank page (lack of actually)...
One completion to a WR all game? Was he just missing them or were they not getting open? Is he not getting time to throw?
Right now his confidence in the WRs is at an all time low. They dropped seven balls on Sunday. They get jammed hard almost every single play at the line of scrimmage. His accuracy has never been all that great. This year it seems worse. However, his thumb on his throwing hand has a mass of bandages on it.
The offensive line has not played like they did last year. He's been sacked over 18 times already this year. He's starting to display 'happy feet' in the pocket.
Over the next two weeks they play the Jets and the Falcons. Maybe if they put together two convincing wins he can regain some confidence. If not...

Oh man I have so many questions but can only think of a couple right now!
First of all, what's up with the audiences... are they paid to be there, and if not, are they ever really as excited as they're made to look? How long do one of those things take to tape and how often do the products not work like they're supposed to? How often do they have to fake it?
Oh yeah, and do the hosts have to use their own meth or is it supplied for them?

I used to edit the goddamn things for a living! Pay was good but it was like selling your soul for a paycheque. You think spending 30 mins looking at Carlton Sheets is bad? Try looking at that footage for 4 weeks solid. Informercials must die!!
I've seen that infomercial late at night claiming you can make tons with 0 money down, 0 credit.. umm wtf are you buying the property with then? that's bullshit.

As a Seahawks fan all I have to say is this - at least you had some glory days!
The best I have to look back on were the early to mid 80's when the Hawks were a top four or five team for a few years. One year they were actually the Las Vegas pick to win the Superbowl. They didn't do it of course. See, that's one of my highlights as a Hawks fan, a couple months of really good pre-season hype.
And yeah they're 5-1 now but they're sure winning ugly. You can bet your ass I'll take it though!

Sims & Taylor Oookay even though LT was good he was a crack addict that gets no respect, As far as casper the ghost Sims is concerned he was never ever up to the ranks of what I would call a class QB, sure he was tough and sure he was consistant but he was vanilla, he had no color either in his game or his aftergame comments he was the doughboy so cry all you want they arent gonna come back, get a life and get off the Giants back.
I can't believe I'm going to do this but....
Taylor redefined the position. He is an all-time all-timer, don't belittle his achievements on the field.
Sims was a great QB. Rarely made mistakes. His problem was playing at the same time as Montana, Marino and Elway. If he was playing today he'd be considered a top of the line QB.

At least you guys have a history of turning it around after the first 6 weeks.
Rememeber Bronco, History doesn't dictate the future you can turn it around. Me - I should know - my team was the first 1st class side in its sport in its country and indeed probably the world, we had a slow start but now we have won the league and can count ourselves kings.
Unfortunately it did take 164 years to win anything worthwhile
