I didn't see Reloaded till after it had been released for a couple months. Most of my friends came away from it liking it yet there were enough somewhat negative reviews (in the press) to still make my expecatations lower. When I finally did see it I was blown away, it is a much better movie than I think people give it credit.
I think the only thing that really annoyed me was the whole Zion scene and Morpheus' crud awful speech.
No, it's because the new Star Wars movies are so hideously bad.
I have to agree with this too, although the episode two was MUCH better than the first. The thing that spoiled them IMHO was that they seem to be the products of market research more than of any creative input by Lucas. It's like Lucas is trying to custom-build a movie to appeal to the widest possible audience, instead of just making a piece of art. Jar-jar _had_ to have been the product of a misguided focus-group.
One problem with reloaded is toward the end where they go into a detailed explanation of the Matrix' creation. I've been a fan, and as such I've played the game, I own the Animatrix and I've seen the movies. And and I _still_ had a hard time keeping up with the information as they streamed it out. Like Blue, I'll be using the DVD to try and grok the Matrix in more fullness before Revolutions.
