If you're missing the movie and pop culture references then you saw this movie with your eyes closed or are not a big fan of Pulp Fiction and or Kung Foo movies because the are LOADS of them in there. Tarantino makes movies you either like or hate. It's just his style of filmmaking. Oliver Stone and David Lynch are the same way. As far as QT movies go though, this rates #2 behind Pulp but that could change after we see the rest of the movie in February. I do admit though, he can be a little hard to take sometimes.

I went to see Kill Bill tonight, mostly on reccomendation from the crew on the forums (and because Mystic River wasn't showing in my area :(). I thought it was pretty good, but not great. The fight scenes were WAAAAAAY over the top and could have used some better pacing. The blood got ridiculous too. But I guess that's what Quentin Tarantino was going for. And, if there were references to other movies, I don't think I caught one. It had some good technical stuff (pretty scenery) but it was a bit too quirky for my taste. And I don't think Tarantino should win any awards anytime soon. His style is too sloppy. It was entertaining but nothing amazing.

I loved Pulp Fiction, but I've seen all of the other QT movies and they've all been just sorta so-so.

All I can say for certain is that Quentin Tarantino is REALLY whacked out. He is one bizarre character. To come up with something wacky as that? Nuts!

The last two times Parcells took over a team following a coaching staff that was just horrendous. He manages a quick turn around better than just about any coach.

I'd still pick Gibbs and Vermeil over him but that is about it right now. He is a tremendous coach. Bad news for fans of other NFC east teams.

And here I didn't even mention this time that I was a GB fan.

I feel bad for Favre. He should try to get himself traded to one of those teams that is just a quarterback away from real sucess. Like the Cowboys.

You can't score enough points to get a healthy lead on the Chiefs. Makes me sick to watch Vermeil turn two teams around that quickly.

Damn Enahs...and I thought I drank alot. It scares me to even think of what your liver must look like.

I do not drink that much actually, just a flaw in the wonderful Drinkometer! It is also from somewhere where the legal drinking age is 18, not 21. So it is adding 3 years extra of drinking (which, I did drink under 21, but that’s not the point!) Also, Maybe the price of alcohol is higher where they made this, or Ferraris are cheaper, or the math just sucks.
