FX Racing Announced

This press release (thanks Frans) announces plans for FX Racing, a racing game in the works at Italian developer Milestone (Racing Evoluzione/Apex) that's slated for release sometime next year for the PC, Xbox, PS2, and GameCube. Here's a bit from Milestone managing director, Antonio Farina: "As Italians we love to drive cars like maniacs – in real life and of course in videogames – have you seen how they drive in Rome? Totally crazy! They might not have the weapons that we have in FX Racing but the excitement and fear of tearing around the city is real – and we've tried to capture and recreate those feelings in this game."

Does everything under the name "FX" suck?

Demo?? Do you have a link?

As for Milestones previous games - Screamer 2 is still one of my favourite driving games. They know what they're doing, think this one will be one to watch.

I'm going to be in Rome for school next year and decided to do some reading up on it before going. Here's a good website with a specific section on Italian drivers:

All I can think of is the Nintendo line of "FX" titles, with that special coprocessor installed in the cart.

I don't expect much from an Italian Development group.

When you're in Rome, you must drive as the Roman's do.

Why? Is it any different than watching an episode of "Cops" or driving to the local mall?
