Out of the Blue

This morning I found what appeared to be a floating insect corpse in Hudson the wonder dog's drinking water. I showed it to MrsBlue and we couldn't determine if the little balled up thing was a tick or not, but suitably grossed out decided the toilet was the only place to dispose of it. As soon as it hit the water, however, this thing unfolded, revealing itself to be a spider, who started to run around the bottom of the toilet. I shouted something in horror and MrsBlue asked if she should just flush it, but I decided I felt bad enough about this to go for the rescue. I managed to fish the little bugger out of there and set him free. I know that's a bit more than most would do for a spider, but I have a lifelong soft spot for arachnids (I think my childhood affection for Spider-Man is responsible), and I can't even figure out how he survived the water as long as he did, so I certainly think he had gone through enough already.

Maybe I'll post a sign by the water dish announcing the hours a lifeguard is on duty.

I bought a Miata last May, and I have a really weird looking spider (like a tiny tarantula) that lives in the back end of it near the gas cap. I'm happy to let the litte guy enjoy the car with me, but I've always wondered if he was some kind of stowaway Japanese spider we don't have here in the States. Am I introducing a new species to the US?

Spiders are great, I always rescue spiders (before the cats get em and eat em). they keep the flies away. I have a fairly chunky spider that lives behind my wing mirror on the car. Its a little sad to see the little critter hanging on at 90mph on the motorway but he's always there again in the morning.

Its not the cough that carries you off but the coffin they carry you off in.

Blue, I had a similar experience this weekend... a spider managed to get stuck in my blob of putty (www.thinkingputty.com). It took a good five minutes to get the little bugger free, cause every time I would loosen one of his legs, he would fidget and get stuck worse. Eventually he settled down and stopped trying to attack my knife, and I managed to get him out, but not before he lost part of one of his back legs. I wish I could have gotten him out completely intact, but I'm sure he's happier out hunting bugs, even with 7.5 legs.

He has also been dogged by allegations that he expressed admiration for Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler in a 1975 interview, though those charges largely dissipated after two figures involved in the interview discounted them. Schwarzenegger, who, like Hitler, is a native of Austria, has vehemently denied that he ever had Nazi sympathies.

Isnt that nice, they group Arnold along with Hitler...

Y'all are missing the point... I'll use bullets to help make it more obvious:
  • Many men get vasectomies.
  • These are generally permanent.
  • Some men may want the same effect (i.e control over their fertility or lack thereof) without the permanent aspect of it.
  • These men will pay for this product, should it be developed.

Voila! There you have it. Considering how much this sort of research costs, chances are that the company involved has done the marketing research and arrived at the same conclusions.

Use soap while washing as well.

Could you guys slow down!

I have to write all this stuff down. I'll never remember it otherwise.

Anyway,

I just read this newsgroup response to a guy complaining that Halo for PC is a dog.

Dan writes:
I'm running it on a Fisher Price Speak and Spell. The video card is a
homeless guy who I pay with beer to describe the action to me. I
don't need a soundcard cause the homeless guy talks pretty loud. I use
a 13" Gold Star portable TV that I wired to the Speak and Spell with
doorbell wire and wingnuts. I burned the disc with a Bic "Crakliter
Pro" torch at 2X. I mean I popped two tabs of X before I did the
burn.

AND IT RUNS LIKE A STRIPED APE!!!! Your problem must be the AMD.

Made me laugh on an otherwise depressing day.

Also, be sure to breath in and then breath out.

Excellent point, Also I should add. Make sure your heart is beating, and when you are biking, you will need to pump more blood, so make your heart beat faster.

As well as:

  • Brush your teeth at least twice a day, and floss.
  • Get plenty of fluids
  • Get plenty of fruits and vegetables
  • And play nice with the other kids

Also, be sure to breath in and then breath out.

You may try breathing out first, but you cannot if you do not have air in your lungs already!?!

The rest, well, you will just have to learn on your own.

Having to teach you the hard way,

No, I'd better tread lightly when it comes to the cleanliness of our animal based nicknames.
