1. Where did they say they only did this after two weeks? From the phrasing it could and probably did happen right after they discovered theft. No date was assigned to this event. True, I just like being pessimistic
Even so, they are
still finding machines that have been compromised, and I have to ask why their entire network hasn't been blanked and reconstituted from the ground up. Reinstall your server, change your domain name, IP pool, new user id's, passwords, preferably a change in protocol etc.
Unless they're hoping to find some trails on those infected machines, but considering that they had no clue from their own logs and sniffers (if they even had any) after two weeks, when Gabe went and asked the community for help, I'd imagine that there is not a whole lot to find.
I hope they've at least been smart enough to take the machines with the source code etc OFF the network that's connected to the Internet, and that they WILL be smart enough to start developing on a separate network from now on.
4. Yeah, but you have to ask for them to take the property down before you can sue them when they don't complyI guess I'm too used to Microsoft's Cease and Desist policies.

PS :
Having every single computer hacking case get a life term Which was never the intention, what the government said at the time was that it should be punishable by a MAXIMUM term of life in prison. Ie, if someone breaks into SAC NORAD and puts the entire country on Defcon 1.
But it's still funny to me that something happens to a game developer, and clamoring goes up (not just here btw) for the perp to be burned at the stake. (Not that I care, actually.)
