Well I do not have a roaring computer, though it is working well for me
My system:
P3 800mhz, 128mb RAM, 32mb Geforce2, DirectX9b
It is not fantastic, but at least it works well!

And remember they will launch a new (working demo) very soon.Hope the controls will get better...

"no that didn't work either"

And you tried ALL executables? One exe apparantly gets called from another. I bypassed the problem by using the core executable. Well. Whatever. Good luck. Enjoy.

kyleb: Yeah, FSAA was at 2x and anisotropic at its max. I will try disabling FSAA if I play the game again.

Is my Radien 9600 really so out of date that games like this won't play at all...?

Because The movement in the game is camera relative, it would be a lot easier to control with an analog control stick.

Stolk: Odd. Other games ran great, but not this demo. What resolution did you use? I used 1152x864 resolution with everything max. Again, no problems with other games.

"Uhh well this doesn't work at all for me, screen goes blank, then it goes to the desktop. So I gotta say so far this game sucks. And I tried the settings every which way."

I had the same problem. Goto the game folder and run the game exe directly to get by that little issue.

well to answer my own question, you can't even change the default controls. i couldnt even find a quit game button and alt+tab and ctrl+f4 didn't work so i had to three finger salute to quit the game. it looked pretty cool though and ran great at 1600x1200 on my 9700pro.

"For some reason, this demo was slow on my Athlon XP 2200+ with 1 GB of RAM, Windows XP, and ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (AIW). Yes, I have the latest driver too."

I have basically the same system, except I have an Athlon XP 1800 and 512 of RAM, and it ran great. You have some issues to work out.

And yeah, this game looks like it will be a good one on a console, but not the PC. I was working hard just to control it.

Nice graphics and I love the water effects. I am not a big fan of this type of game though.

This game will rock. But not on the PC. The mouse demo thing just ain't happening with BGE. Nevertheless, with the exception of perhaps Zelda: Windwaker, this is the closest anyone has come to recreating a Disney quality level in a game. The demo makes the game look fantastic.

I couldn't see where the hell I was half the time, let alone where I was supposed to be going. Yikes!
