Mauretania Import Export Co" sends word that they are holding a Video
Game Casting Call for game players from southern California as they conduct
open casting for a video game television show. He says: "think 'iron chef'
meets 'jackass' meets head-to-head gaming."
Ah, memories of the tortured and shortlived Starcade (now in syndication on G4 TV). A TV gameshow about people playing video games. It's as embarrasing to watch now as it was then. Nolan Bushnell is gonna scream that he didn't execute on this . . . .
