Lock On: Modern Air Combat Demo

A playable demo for Lock On: Modern Air Combat is now available, offering the chance to fly the unfriendly skies of the upcoming jet combat simulator. The demo offers the chance to take the controls of either the A-10 Warthog or the MiG-29 Fulcrum. Word is: "This demo is created from Beta code of the project and is not representative of the final code. There are known bugs in the demo and frame rates have not been fully optimized." The demo is a 123 MB download, available from 3D Gamers, Computer Games Online, Filerus, Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying.

Optimizations? Give me a fucking break. Like what in the fuck are they going to do - feed the code into some magical fucking computer that's going to churn out optimized code so we can have 30+ FPS in the heat of battle? What a load of shit. In my experience there's really no difference between beta code and the final master. "No really, we'll optimize it to make it run smoothly on your computer!" What a crock.
