Steam Update [Sep 25, 2003, 11:16 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Steam News announces the
availability of a new Steam update that addresses a bunch of bugs in the content
delivery system (thanks Frans). There is an accompanying update that outlines
future updates that include a new version of Counter-Strike, a new version of
Day of Defeat, and a new friends and server browser.
Ok, I downloaded the steam client with the CS cache. It updated itself and I told it to play CS... after about five minutes of "Preparing to play Counter-Strike" it gives me this error:
