if you people like RTS's but are sick of short depth and few untis and few races.. give Warlords Battlecry 2 a shot. much better in EVERY aspect of the game compared to WC3.. minus the graphics--but they are nice.

What the fuck I just downloaded the first one and yeah it blows, total WarCraft III wannabee, I love WCIII but I hate thiskinda blatant ripp off if you think War of the Ring is a clone then this is a 100% copy.

Btw WotR is pretty damn cool, I like more then BR.

The only people that like Star Wars Galaxies are those that like Star Wars AND like MMORPGs. Otherwise, stay away. It's still SOE. (In other words, they dream of things to make you waste your time.)

Im a first person shooter player, and with the expection of sweet driving games like Need for Speed and a couple Rallye Racing games, shooters are all I play.

I have really wanted to try an MMORPG game that doesn't suck ass. So far, they all have. The only one I haven't tried is Star Wars Galaxies. Is it any good, or should I wait another 5 years? lol

Unfortunately it didn't, as the Defender of the Crown demo from yesterday was and is still exclusive it turns out. Blah.

Another 400 meg download eh? No thanks.

Sad to say this demo really is the worst rts I've played in recent memory, and I generally like most rts games released... even stuff like Warrior Kings, Praetorians and Celtic Kings. The only good thing about the game is the voiceovers (the female who does the tutorial sounds hot!)

If my feet are already melting, then I might not care about tech support that thinks that ignoring, censoring and banning users is good practice.

Let's just hope SOE's foray into the RTS genre isn't indicative of Blizzard's into MMORPGs.

These losers can't even seem to launch a stable demo, much less a working game. No amount of "addressing technical issues" is going to fix the shoddy design of this miserable Warcraft wannabe. But, of course, there will be a whole bevy of idiots who line up to buy this heaping pile of misfit code simply because SOE just released that they shelled out a fat wad of cash to hire voice talant. The sheep out there will think listening to Kevin Conroy gravel out a few click on phrases ala Bill Roper's orcish "Zug Zug" makes up for the clunky and ugly as hell interface, piss poor environments, and lackluster unit design, but I'm not so easily bought. Do yourselves a favor and let this game rot on the shelves, the whole industry will be better for it.

played it at Gencon in August holy shit was it a boring re hash of every 3-D RTS you have ever played.
