Once Upon a Knight Demo

Fulfilling the promise made when the German KnightShift demo was released, an English version of the demo for Reality Pump's RTS game, to be titled Once Upon a Knight in North America, is now available. The demo, a whopping 443 MB download offering a portion of a campaign and a quick RPG mission, can be found on 3D Gamers, Computer Games Online, FileFront, Gamer's Hell, IGN, and Worthplaying.

Here are three links with detailed information about the topic I described - ironically - in my previous post:

All articles are in German, so try babelfish (altavista) or something like it to translate.

I took a break from Lionheart to play the Knightshift demo and really enjoyed it. Of course, these things are relative...

Zuxxez does not sue anybody. I have been Betatester of KnightShift and what Gamestar did was horrible for the development studios and Zuxxez: they tested a preview version of the game from april this year wothout permission. The preview version from april included 5-10% of the full game and was not a test-version. PC Games was not sued by Zuxxez, au contraire - PC Games has the German Demo exclusivly in the next mag. Keep your mouth shut about things you do not know!!!

Seriously, do they have to include the entire game with the demo? is it that hard to strip the textures and models that ARENT in the demo levels out of the demo?

That FileFront link points to the demo for Hot Rod American Street Drag. Here's the right one.

... The publisher of the game, ZUXXEZ, sues everybody, who does not like their fine game!!

At least the two best selling gaming mags in germany were threatened to be sued. The first, Gamestar, for an "unauthorized" review. The second, PC Games, for an "unauthorized" preview.

The writers of both articles were´nt too excited about the game.
