Apologies for the non-update here. In brief, my mom, who has been receiving
treatment lately for her second recurrence (third incidence) of breast cancer
had what is described as a "massive" stroke last night. We're off to
see her in the hospital, but her prognosis has been described as grim.
I just wanted to fill you in, as I'm not sure when I'll be back at this point. Thanks for your understanding, and for any good thoughts or prayers that anyone can muster on the occasion.
I thinks it's great that so many people (including a lof of lurkers) have posted their best wished for Blue's family. In addition to my own best wishes I'd like to take it a step further...
This is just a suggestion, but would it be considered crossing some line to find out what hospital Blue's mother is in and send her some flowers from the Blue's News reader community? I know there are a lot of intelligent people here, and more than a few with a lot of extra time on their hands...
What does everyone think, would that be considered an invasion of privacy, even if the motives are pure?
