Apologies for the non-update here. In brief, my mom, who has been receiving
treatment lately for her second recurrence (third incidence) of breast cancer
had what is described as a "massive" stroke last night. We're off to
see her in the hospital, but her prognosis has been described as grim.
I just wanted to fill you in, as I'm not sure when I'll be back at this point. Thanks for your understanding, and for any good thoughts or prayers that anyone can muster on the occasion.
Yeah Blue, we're all here thinking about you and wishing you and you're family the best. Who says the web is de-humanizing? Look at all these hundreds of people (and probably thousands more that don't wish to post) all over the globe coming here and wishing you luck...
I do hope we break the record. It will truly show how much support blue has here, more than america itself does.

Having lost my mom to breast cancer a few years ago, I have some idea what you're going through, but that doesn't make it any easier. I had a lot of friends and family that helped me then, and I hope you realize that this whole community will be here for you whenever you decide to return.

My prayers will be with you and your family. My Girlfriend has been through cancer three times now. Once for her jaw, Once to remove both breasts, and Once for a histerectomy. I try to enjoy each moment with her that I have. My thoughts prayers and understanding are with you.
