nin- Did you try NOLF2? If so, I can't believe you didn't like it...

I picked up Tron_2.0 and I have been having a good time with it. The idea of being in the Tron universe had me sold on the idea to begin with. The player upgrades and and how they are implemented are really cool. Computer hardware enthusiasts should really dig it. I could have done without most the various weapons though, they kinda feel like filler. I prefer the disc only approach. I guess it's comparable to using the lightsaber throughout most of JediKnightII.

The story is very well done. I mean, it is a probably the best story I have seen in a FPS in a very long time. Even if it is a retelling of Tron the movie.

The graphics, animation, and production design rock.

There are some parts that are a tad annoying... I can't stand fucking jump puzzles, cheap AI/surprise kills, and stealth objectives. Also, I wish the overall feel of the player physics (running and jumping) were more like quake engine but that's a gripe I have with most FPS games. The mouse feels weird too. They have all of the usual mouse options to adjust but like the player physics I prefer the feel of the mouse movement in quake games.

Overall, I think Tron_2.0 is a good single player experience.
