MoH AA Breakthrough Gold

The Medal of Honor Allied Assault Website (thanks Frans) has news that the Medal of Honor Allied Assault Breakthrough add-on is gold. Word on availability is the WW2 shooter expansion will be storming store shelves on September 22. Here's a bit on gameplay: "As U.S. Army Sergeant John Baker, players join the battle at Kasserine Pass in North Africa, race to capture Messina in Sicily, and finally repel the German army at the historic battle of Monte Battaglia in the heart of Italy. Armed with a new arsenal of weapons, players will fight alone and with squad mates as they rush to stop the Axis powers. The multiplayer game has been enhanced with the addition of Liberation Mode. In this mode, defeated players must be rescued by surviving teammates to continue the fight. In addition, players can drive tanks, and minesweepers can defuse mines. Players can also choose from American, British, Italian, and German skins in all multiplayer modes."

Anyways, I wonder just how long (gameplay wise) this expansion will be, considering the previous one was a good three hours if you took it easy and did a lot of sightseeing.

I must have spent 6 hours spread over 3 days on it on Hard, due to all the QuickLoading. Still very short.

I have to agree though that assuming the devs really have limited resources, this "shorter but denser" approach works well for expansion packs. Granted, Spearhead took that to the extreme, but I would rather have it's fast-paced no-letup gameplay than a drawn out, lethargic experience with few points of interest to essentially wake me up (Q2MP2 by Rogue did this to me.)

From what I've read, Breakthrough is striving for some sort of middle-ground. The concept of participating in a "Forgotten Battle" also appeals to me in the same manner IL-2 : FB did. The only way this game could possibly dissapoint me is if I end up playing Half-Life 2 first

You have got to be the dumbest moron this planet has ever seen.

I think you have a Creston fetish, and need therapy. Why do you let something so trivial bother you? There's more than a few people here that sign their posts with their name at the bottom, including Blue. Why don't you go bitch at him and see how far it gets you?

Bingo. I have no doubt that Satan is going to "fry for eternity". The difference is that he ****KNEW**** GOD. We don't ****KNOW**** Him. We can have faith in Him, but we don't have ****knowledge**** of His existence. If we did, things would be much different here.

So you see it comes down to mercy and free will, & if you don't I guess that's okay (but I couldn't believe in a God that would be so criminally cruel to his own creation). At any rate, it makes no sense to love people so much as to become one of them to die for them & then keep the vast majority in a place of never-ending torment.

A good enough analogy of that would be that I have two puppies & I keep one in a place where he gets good food, plays frisbee all the time, gets petted constantly, and learns all kinds of wonderful tricks, and is the happiest dog there can be. The other dog, I beat constantly, burn off his fur in a BBQ, poke him with needles, pinch him with pliers, scrape his burnt skin with a cheese grater, do this every day, and keep him alive just as long as the other dog. This would land me in jail & many people would want to kill me because it is insane behavior.

God is a logical Being. He created us in His image. He wouldn't make us smart enough to realize good & evil and simultaneously cut our legs out from under us with something as infinitely evil as burning people forever just because they didn't hear about Him in the right way, lived in a remote part of Pakistan or was raised on evolution. Even Hitler doesn't deserve that! No one does. Only those who actually knew God existed with actual knowledge (like Satan) would be deserving of eternal damnation because they would have been living eternally in heaven when they made such a choice. We have free will, allowing us a life time of choices, the angels had one time to choose, and that's the difference you need to understand. You can debate all you want, but you should realize that you are making your version of God out to be a madman who weilds his power like a playground schoolyard bully. Burning up in hell for 5 minutes or 5 days is reason to fear!!!!!!! Who would jump into a vat of boiling sulfur????? There will indeed be gnashing of teeth. But don't make God out to be worse than all serial killers in all of history!

Zephalephelah Their is a someone else that needs bringing into this, an evil git called Satan, I do believe he is the one responsible for all the suffering. But this could go on for days, I ain't going to argue, I have shown you whats going to happen and nothing can stop it. Believe it and live eternity in Heaven or shun it and fry for eternity. Your choice not mine.

Bingo: I have two dogs. One dog always goes & does his duty in the back yard. The other one shit in the house. Should I then torment the dog with needles & pliers, extending the pain & using medicines so that I can continue to torture him for the rest of his many years? IS THAT JUSTICE??????????????

Bingo: Find one verse that says it straight out that people.... PEOPLE... will go to a place of eternal death.

Then I will show you something. Until then, you are just preaching to the choir about things that aren't saying what you think they are.

Anyway, again, why would you want to love a God that would cause so much pain to billions of people? Don't you have an inkling of understanding about long eras of time or masses of people, we're talking billions of people & hundreds of billions of years. Is God that cruel?

Hey man, I did not make the rules, read John 14v6 and Romans 10v9 again if you want to know how to save your ass. And yes Jo bob will be thrown into the lake of fire if he is not saved and so will you and me for that matter.

Bingo: Read what you wrote. It's true that no one can make it on their own to heaven. Yes. But it says the dead were judged. It says death & hades gave up their dead & then death & hades were thrown into the lake of fire. It doesn't say that those who were first in death & hades were also thrown into the lake.

You are right. You have to be in the book to be saved. But that doesn't mean that Jo Bob who ran a store down the street, never raped anyone, killed anyone, or did much in the way of hurting many people really at all is going to feel the same fate as Hitler or death, Hades, the Beast, Satan & the demons, does it?

Why make God out to be a hateful pain God? WHy can't the Reward of Eternal Life be enough? Why does believing in God have to be a get out of jail free card? Why can't it just be accepting a gift instead of denying righteous retribution (whatever that means)?

The fact? Please PROVE it. Oh wait, your fact is based on faith and that has it's underlying basis in fear and irresponsibility toward finding truth on your own.

I'm done with this argument. Religious people are no better than the Nazi's they condemn in this thread. If they had their way they'd be setting up concentration camps for atheists. Good-nite.

Zephalephelah
John 14v6
Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life. No-one comes to the father except through me". So basically if you don't accept Jesus you will never get to Heaven.

Romans 10v9
T"hat if you confess with you mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your Heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

And here is one about what happens if you don't get saved:
Revelations 20v12
"And I saw the dead great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.

Then Hades and death were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyones name was not found in the book of life they were thrown into the lake of fire."

And to get your name in da book ya got to be saved.

Believe it or not, it's your choice, God does not force you to believe but that won't alter the fact that it WILL happen.

That happens everytime. Theists condemn people as soon as they disagree. Did I condemn you for believing in a god or thinking life has meaning? No I didn't. When you don't agree with them they go on the attack. Oh well, it shows the true colors of their intentions and opinions of people who don't believe. Wow, they sort of sound like theological Nazi's, huh?

Whatever. If it is pointless, then kill yourself. No one here will care. That argument makes no sense.

Of course, you won't be able to see Maxtrix Revolutions or Return of the King or play HL-2, but hey, that's pointless too. You won't know the joy of fatherhood or the warmth of a wife. But hey, pointless. Right?

Bingo, please tell me the verses that say this. I'd be interested.

My point of view is that if there is a guy who just doesn't accept it or doesn't hear it then why should that guy suffer forever in a place beyond imagination.

Burn just a little bit of sugar. Put that black sugar on your finger. Just your finger. Just a little pain, just for a few hours.

Now think of it being everywhere. Burning into your very bones with the heat. In your eyeballs, your scrotum, your feet, your face. Not just for a few hours, but for all time. Not just for a week, month, year, century, or millennium, but for tens of millions of millenia.

Doesn't make any sense coming from a being whose name means Love.

Anyway, show your verses. I'll show you that fearing God is wisdom, but thinking him a crazed lunatic of pain, is insane.
