I can't believe you guys didn't list most of these
I believe it -- I can disagree with a few of your choices...
#01 - Cabin Boy
Didn't hate it -- at least it was trying to be different.
#03 - Get Shorty
This is a great movie.
#04 - Battlefield Earth
Indeed an all time stinker.
#05 - Freddy Got Fingered
Rarely does a movie look so bad I'm unwilling to give it a try (like this one).
#06 - The Thin Red Line
Hated it the first time (except some of the amazing battle sequences). A lot better on subsequent viewings though.
#07 - Little Nicky
They should name bad movie polls after Adam Sandler.
#08 - The Royal Tennenbaums (sp?)
This was an ambitious movie -- very uncomfortable at times.. I definitely don't think it deserves mention in this context.
#09 - Starship Troopers
Certainly nothing to show to acting students, but I love this movie.
#10 - Tomb Raider
Stinky movie, but at least you get to watch Angelina Jolie for a couple of hours.
Other movies mentioned in this thread:
I agree they stink:
-Batman & Robin. Taking the franchise right into the dopey TV territory the movies were supposed to remedy.
-Ghosts of Mars. How can a sci-fi vampire movie with Natasha Henstridge be so awful?
-Supergirl.
I'm surprised they were mentioned (not that I love them all, but they are by no means the bottom of the barrel) :
-Home Alone.
-Jerry McGuire.
-Titanic.
-The 6th Day.
-Rush Hour 2.
Here's a classic stinker that was just on cable:
The Experts... I'll just quote IMDB
http://us.imdb.com/Plot?0097314 :
"When Travis (John Travolta) and Wendell (Arye Gross) are kidnapped while on their way to opening a nightclub in rural Nebraska. The KGB spy Cameron Smith (Charles Martin Smith) takes them to the U.S.S.R. instead with the intention of teaching KGB agents to be hip like Americans."
