The debut release of the GTA Vice City Modern Mod
is now available, adding a while bunch of new cars to the car theft game. The
357 MB download has been mirrored on Gamer's
Hell, NWSGaming,
and Tiscali Games.
The 'white cars in distance' problem is fixable, but its down to the modelers to create a proper 'low detail' model. A good example of this was seen in one of the Golf GTi replacements in GTA3, where the modeler used the Stallion as the base for his model but didn't bother to change the low detail model in the file or redo the textures, so from a distance the Golf looked like a messed up Stallion. Looked very strange in game!
