no clue about the network gameplay, but judging from the demo, it still has the problem of not seeing a gamepad unless it's one of the ones the porting team deemed worthy. I've got an Xbox controller wired into my computer, and neither TH3 nor the TH4 demo will see it, even tho every other game I have works flawlessly with it.
Yet another case of a developer that refuses to actually use DirectX for what it's good at. All they SHOULD have done is ask the system if there was a game controller present, then ask how many buttons/axes it has. that's ALL it should do. It's like developers enjoy making their lives (and ours) more of a pain in the ass than they need to.
