AO: Shadowlands Gold

Anarchy Online: Shadowlands Goes Gold is the press release from Funcom announcing that the Shadowlands expansion for Anarchy Online, their MMORPG, has gone gold. The Shodowlands add-on "nearly doubles the current content in Anarchy Online," and the retail package will include the original AO and the Notum Wars expansion, as well as one month of play time. Word is: "As the dark past of Rubi-Ka is revealed, the players enter a strange, alien world spanning seven distinct geographical themes across 20+ gigantic playfields. Shadowlands takes the players on an incredible journey through the realm of mankind’s ancient ancestors, and into the cradle of human civilization."

I think Funcom might have their stuff ready for release this time.

I hope so, I cant go through release day, week, month, etc. again

No worries, there will be a tremendous download on release day. Standard procedure with MMO games.

By gold they probably mean "the content is done and ready"

after all, I dont think they put ALL of the content in beta -- ruin some surprises.
