Ubi Soft Purchases SOFTIMAGE-XSI on GamerFeed (thanks Hump) has word that Ubi Soft has purchased Softimage-XSI. Update: Apologies for confusing this into seeming like the announcement that Ubi Soft was purchasing Softimage the company in the way this was originally posted.

I think they bought the whole company and it wasn't made clear.
