Neither turn based or solid real time do it for me. What worked perfectly for me was the Baldur's Gate way of turn based real time where you paused it at any given moment to issue commands.
I could be wrong, but I've been following this game for some time, and have been led to believe that combat will be just like BG's, which to me is a good thing.
I've been looking forward to this game for quite a while now, and will probably buy it on principle when it comes out, before reading reviews, etc, since I've been jonesing for a good crpg ever since BG2.
The three I'm most looking forward to before the end of the year are this one, Temple of Elemental Evil, and Knights of the Old Republic. God I hope they're good, and don't have anything in common with NWN.
