Out of the Blue

I got to see Terminator 3... I was worried going to a matinee of this type of flick while school is out might have resulted an overload of noisy kids, but there was not a single youngster in the audience. Of course any consolation taken in this was drowned out by the older couple who sat near me talking through every single moment of the movie from the coming attractions through the closing credits. When I asked them to shush (after the perfunctory half-turn followed by the full turn/eye roll combo) they acted mystified at what I was getting at before getting back to their conversation. Thankfully, this was not a movie with a lot of quiet reflective moments where this became a distraction, and overall I was still able to enjoy the proceedings.

Luckily, I workout, and tend to wear shirts which display all my hard work. I also shave my head bald and have some interesting facial hair on my chin which makes me look pretty damn psycho. I don't have a lot of trouble with people talking during movies if they are sitting near me. At least I don't once I give them "the look". My woman is on instigator too. She says "give them the look" lol

I like the antigrav story. Hopefully we'll have it for real one of these days.

Yeah, wouldn't it be great to have a vehicle that we can fly around in that used a downward thrust for propulsion? Yeah, so it would only work in our atmosphere, but we could fly around cities with it. Think of all the benefits that we would get out of it. We could pick up injured people and get them to hospitals quickly, we could do search and rescue missions with the Coast Guard, and I bet News stations could get some great aerial footage with it. If I made a vehicle like this, I would call it... a helicopter.

You know, somehow I get the feeling you're not really too excited about this?

Also I'd like to add that regular Blue tastes a lot better than Blue light.. unless you're American I guess.. then you should stick to light.

But not when the girl is hot and topless right? Right?

Oh hell yeah!!! I'd be all like, "hey baby, shake those babies this way, baby"! Then she'd be like, "well I don't know, you kind of scare me you large virile man"! And I'd be all, "no way baby, get with me for some hot lovin'... but first - GET THE HELL DOWN SO I CAN SEE THE F*CKING SHOW"!!!! (and sh*t)

There is actually a cell phone jamming device. Frances uses them in most of their theatres. It was outlawed in the U.S. because some doctor might not get an emergency call.

actually it's because producing and selling signal interference devices are illegal in the U.S.

28: They see that there is an empty seat to either side of me and my buddy so they come over and ask for us to move over, into what were clearly inferior seats, so that they could sit together. I told them that since they chose to get to a major release on opening weekend during the trailers, they also chose to sit where ever there were seats left. Their response was like I was the most rude and out of line person ever.

That's because you were TOTALLY THE MOST RUDE AND OUT OF LINE PERSON EVER. How hard would it be to get up and move one seat over? Don't be such a jerk next time.

I have a gripe about going to concerts that I haven't seen mentioned yet... people standing on their chairs or girls on sitting on top of their boyfriend's shoulders - this really pisses me off. I never go to a concert anymore without a couple pockets full of heavy duty rubber bands. The real trick is to shoot a few and then pass them out to the other pissed off people around you (who always think it's funnier than hell) so they can shoot also. When the offending party realizes that they're up against a whole group of people who are pretty much having more fun shooting them in the ass than watching the concert, they usually get down.

I have a similar experience. I'm at this little hole in the wall club (think it was actually a house at one point, it was THAT small), and everyone is up close to the stage watching the band. This little bimbo keeps climbing up these wood shelves behine me, yelling for someone to catch her, and then diving off. After the 4th or 5th time, it got real old "CATCH ME! CATCH ME! CAAAATCH ME!, etc.". She shimmies up there again, and this time I look behind me and see her shoelace is untied. She's busy yelling for someone to catch her, so I wrap that shoelace around my hand 4 or 5 times. When she jumps, I yank the hell out of it.

She never climbed up there again...after she picked herself up off the floor.

Stories like these are the reason why I haven't been to a theater since a girl drug me to Titanic. Films are coming to DVD quicker and quicker these days and I can wait.
