Contract Killer Revealed

The Adrenaline Vault's Contract Killer Feature offers a first look at an upcoming organized crime action shooter in the works at IncaGold. Here's a bit from their preview, which is to be followed this week by a couple of Q&As: "You'll have to come down off of the guns-a-blazin' mentality to play this game. Contract Killer emphasizes finesse over firepower. Dominick is neither a genetically enhanced super soldier nor heavily armored vigilante; he's an assassin. His forte is the surgical implementation of a carefully orchestrated plan, not engaging in an all out firefight."

Was that he had unnatural control over his weapons; he was a clone for God's sakes! You couldn't go at the Hong Kong triads DooM style, you'd be wasted under a storm of Uzi fire. But really, I don't think the game was that far off. You're squared off against what is primarily inexperienced street trash hardly trained in the use of quality firearms; whereas, you are versed in them...of course the death toll on your part going to be a little higher

I'd rather have the sequel to:

"One Man Saves the World From the Alien Threat"
"Nothing livens up a robotic hymn of doom more than an amazing pair of jugs." - Brak

"Guy who kills people for money 2"
the remake "Pay killer who kills and gets paid:ZERO HOUR!"

Yeah, but the problem with Hitman was that you COULD engage in all-out firefights and still win, except when it explicitly conflicted with a mission parameter.

Those are some of the worst graphics I have seen in a modern game! BAH! What is the polycount on those models? 10? Not that graphics are everything (quite the opposite in fact) but if it looks like a duck, smells like a duck, then..

There was only one catch and that was Catch-22
Who knows but that, on the lower frequencies, I speak for you?

the game hostages from the late 1980's on the c64,amiga, and ibm had all the elements of todays games. you snippered bad guys walking past windows in the occupied building. you ran in a 2d side scrolling scene to put your guys in position and landed men on the roof by copper. when everything was set you entered the building and went from room to room shooting bad guys and saving the hotages with your group.not much hasn't been done before-maybe not as well as todays hottest game or favorite genre but still it was tried.

to quote myself from HL-comments:

the screenshots are more than a year old and were shown as "Sniper" screens on BonusWeb.cz (can be found here: http://www.bonusweb.cz/download/screenshoty/sniperscr010924.html )...

So no one can make a game in which you have to assissinate a target anymore, without ripping off Hitman? Woo the stupidity!

Hey, Silent Scope has you killing some target, that means Hitman is ripping them off! SOMEONE CALL THE PRESSES!

I do have to admit, the lighting on that last screenshot is all off. The game IS still in development, and might be nice to pick up in the bargain bin.

Yes, but this patch adds shittier graphics.

Man that last screenshot looks pretty bad. Low poly counts and bad shadows.

Hmm...this isn't really a 'new' game. It was already revealed more than a year ago under the name 'Mobster'. I think developer was mayhem studios ('empire of magic')
