Out of the Blue

Hatch Takes Aim at Illegal Downloading (thanks D.G.Whiskey)... when 70-year-olds deal with technology. Mind you I'm not critical of this because it is anti-piracy, but just because it's nightmarishly stupid. My thought is to counter this with a proposal that causes Senators' cars to break down should they be suspected of engaging in illegal or illicit activities... it would be fun to see all these stuffed shirts waiting by the side of the road to get their limos towed.

Maybe if the music industry made extremely less money we'd get music from people who love making music, not these greedy no-talent cliche's they keep shoving down our throat.

Point taken, but I think the idea that there's no good music these days is cliched and uninformed... the fact is, there is little good mainstream music. The good music is not what's popular, like in the days of The Beatles and Zeppelin. This doesn't mean there isn't great music, it means that you may have to look harder to find it, which may mean beyond major labels... check out www.pitchforkmedia.com for news/reviews/articles from a more indie perspective.

: Sigh : But I think the point has been made as much as it's going to be. 'Twas entertaining, and I suppose the pages of gibberish are made worthwhile by the occaisional mistake-which-happens-to-be-unintentionally-brilliant.

I'm voting for this thread to enter the Blue's News Hall of Fame.

You seem to be beside yourself in only succeeding in befuddling *only* one person, other than yourself.. and that would be you and your trite English humor. I must compliment you on eulogizing my Namesake.

Well, that just goes without saying, doesn't it?

Jedi...

You seem to be beside yourself in only succeeding in befuddling *only* one person, other than yourself.. and that would be you and your trite English humor.

I must compliment you on eulogizing my Namesake. That being my use in paraphrasing the term: "This new age McCarthyism, poking us in the eye"

First a brief lesson:

ism = State or condition resulting from an excess of something specified

When "ism" is added to a word it converts into a condition.
what's the problem? you didn't think of the Euphemism first?
"hot-chacha-chaaaaa!" ;p

So, no matter how I use it in sentence, as a subject or verb. In any part of the sentence it's emphasis still makes sense.

Hmmmmmm? cytoplasm = that would be the cellular material outside a nucleus.. I love science

and scurvy = a disease attributed to the lack of vitamin C.
many English sailors suffered that fate.

This isn't *word play* my friend. This is sandbox war. I say something, you say something, everyone says something.

As for my misgivings on words...

... "OH well!" I just don't prep with scanning words in spell-check... my bad I'm not a master for perfection.

I wish I came across as convoluted in conjugation of extrapolous malapropisms as you Soliloquized in your paragraph. "he he he!" it's just not true.

Take care.. and saya mal bicara: "selamat tidur teman".. zai jian ne Wan An.. und gute nacht fur deinen schon Wort Krieg...

My french is pretty bad.. so I won't comment on that...

The Dude, it would be an enormous waste of my time to try and respond to (or even finish reading) your post, but seriously man, what's with you? You don't seem to be a troll, and it appears that there is the intent to make an actual point in most of your posts, but you rarely seem to make one as most of your posts consist of UTTER NONSENSE.

Is it me? Am I in the twilight zone? I mean, it's not even the words you misspell, most of the time I can get around that it's just that... ok, this is how you sound to me:

<the dude> I have every fleck another airframe and philosophy have exerted it out our hobo. Reassuringly it spread up a prolongation. Why is another horseman either cytoplasm enchantingly? Across half every appeal he was a scurvy astride historian, all patenting though half synthesis. </the dude>

Ok, now go back and misspell some words and fudge the grammar a little more, and you'd come close to your posting style. Oh yea, make it about three times longer. Do you see? The point is not that you misspelled McCarthy, it's that the sentence "In this new age McCarthyism, poking us in the eye" makes NO SENSE! AAAAAIEEEHGHER@QRKLGD~

/me goes insane

EDIT: Hahahah, this is great... "Inconclusion." There you go, now I'm applauding you for creating a colloquialism... it's at once a malapropism and a case of brilliant wordplay, and the best part is that I'm certain it was unintentional on your part. So there, you're good for something.

In this eye of inconclusion, McCarthyism poking age...

Jeeze! Who's trying to get personal now? Can I remind people that this is a message board on Bluesnews. No ones running for office here, and our lives certainly don't depend on it.

The guy is borderline literate at best anyway. My guess is he's 16 or 17, a high school dropout, lower middle class background, homophobe, gun nut, bigoted and racist to boot.

Uuuuh huh, huh.... Well if you must know I'm 36yrs, I was raised Upper middle class, I have a good friend I've known from high school and he is gay. Yes, I do own guns and shoot them at animals, I am married to my wonderful Mexican wife, from Mexico City, I have a 6 year old step son from her(and a baby on the way!). I own a nice house and work as an IT Manager for a large electrical contractor. I make enough money to where my wife doesn't have to work anymore. I did graduate from High School and have 2 years of college.

Chances are you're the one that's 16.

I just don't talk, I walk the walk.

P.S. I do enjoy throwing the verbal smack around, just don't take these things too seriously.

Ahhh, another stimulating political debate on the Blue's New forums. And like always a there are few good points, but most importantly we have more unintentional comedy than you can shake a stick at. (shake a stick at? wtf does that mean anyway?)

Anyway, I just want to say that the media says and shows what it thinks people will watch. They don't care if it's left or right as long as people watch. And if there's video involved, that goes first.

Yes sir. I would love to have a real time conversation with The dude. It would be very educational.

I went to school with a guy who reminds me of his dudeness. He would actually use the word "indubitably" instead of "yes" when asked a question. And yes, he was fun to talk to.

You haven't made sense in years. And no amount of dictionary surfing on your part is going to change that.

But we wouldn't have it any other way!

I suppose the world needs ditch diggers too.

Ooooo, ooooo, I know that one: Judge Smails from Caddyshack!

While I am suspect of the legitimacy of your post, The dude, I must say that you definately got your money's worth on that thesaurus.

HA HA HA... You're funny.

You know, these are natural words for me buddy.. I have high and low gears for my thinking. Every once in a while I check my spelling. but as you've seen form my examples. For the most part I throw caution to the wind.

Also there was a point where I would mix my histories up a little bit when I was younger, in my zealousy to express myself. Because I always liked debating issues after I performed horribly in a mock government group. Afterwards. I've learned since those errors in my ways.

I only speak the truth hence the name "DUDE!" and that's not because I spend the better parts of my afternon smoking large quantities of ganga.
