Valve on Xbox Half-Life 2

Following up on the story below, GameSpyDaily has a report up quoting Valve's Doug Lombardi that contradicts the notion that their shooter sequel will not be released for Microsoft's console system:
"Half-Life 2 is planned for the PC and Xbox. We've announced the shipping date for the PC version, and we'll announce a shipping date for the Xbox version later in the year."

You guys are just wasting your time talking about the X-Box's CPU and GPU. Seriously, I'd guarantee they're more powerful than most computers people use to play games now a days. Probably more so than some of the people who are posting bashing them.

What you REALLY should be focusing on is that the X-Box has only *64 MEGABYTES OF RAM!* Which is shared between the CPU, APU, and GPU. Now, allegedly they use a very optimized OS, which cuts the memory usage down quite a bit. But still... I can't think of the last time I played a game with less than 64MB free.
Seriously, why is it that people always cheap out on RAM? It's SOOOOO CHEAP! There's a computer in my office that someone decided to order with a 2.4ghz P4, GF4Mx (not state of the art, but pretty good for MS Office), and 128mb of ram. As if that wern't terrible enough, it's running WinXP! It's already using the paging file when it boots up! It's terrible! How much would it have cost MS to tack on an extra 64megs? There's already spots on the motherboard for it! Maybe like $50 per machine? A year and a half ago! I'm sure by now it'd be atleast half that. Oiy!
