I'm afraid KOTOR is starting to look a little too console-portish, if you know what I mean. I love the first 2 Baldurs Gate games, so I have faith in the developers, but those were for PC only, and it shows.
Multi platform games are starting to equil SUCK to me. The only one I've liked so far is Vice City. Even it has it's console-root flaws.
I havn't lost faith in KOTOR yet, but I'm not near as excited as I was at it's launch. As far as Jedi Acadamy goes, I know I'll dig it, because Raven is one of the most consistant developers, JK2 was great, and they are still using the quake 3 engine which they have become so familiar with. I liked the quote from one of the Raven team. Forget the exact wording but it went something like:
"It's great to be able to do a game in the same engine. All the things we were learning the first time around we know now, and this time instead of learning the engine with our development time we can concentrate purely on content."
Something like that, anyway.
