Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Gold

The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Goes Gold is the press release announcing that Bethesda Softworks' new expansion for Morrowind has gone gold (thanks Worthplaying). Word is the RPG add-on will ship to stores the first week of June, and here's a bit more: "You'll have a choice of stories to follow and have the opportunity to defend the colony, take control over how the colony is built up, and eliminate the werewolves. Or, you can decide to join the werewolves and become one of them, opening up a whole new style of gameplay. Bloodmoon can be played by any character at any time, whether you are just starting, in the middle of, or have already finished the main quest of Morrowind and/or the Tribunalâ„¢ expansion."

Modding MW is tons of fun, but you can really hose your game if you try some newbs mod and it screws up your saved games making you start from the very start of the game again. Maybe I'll pick it up again; it was pretty impressive. The last thing I remember in MW since putting it down half a year ago was talking to some villiage of sand people out in the middle of nowhere about finding some city out in the middle of nowhere, and I searched all over those dang mountains for DAYS irl. Decided I was wasting my time and dumped it, but I did have tons of fun once I found that daemon katana

I really love this game, too bad that the engine sucks. I still got crappy fps outdoors with 2,4ghz, gf4 Ti4600

It got a little better with the latest expansion though, and I hope this one will improve it even more. But as was said, this game needs a sequel, not all these expansions.

I hope my guy (who has excelled in EVERYTHING by now, melee, magic, you name it) is gonna meet some resistance for once

Edit: woho!! thx alot Thera! this is just what i need (lower fps =) new high poly models with alot better textures!! YES! yes yes!

And don't forget the mods, which add new teleport points or new silt striders ect. It's all out there...a huge community of modders which have done some pretty damn impressive stuff with the game.

"Trudging around," as you put it, is called exploring. There's a million and one things to find in MW while you're traveling from one place to the next. As for it taking a while to get around, that's why there're ships, the Mage's Guild, the pair of teleport spells, recalls, the teleport ring from Tribunal, and a bunch of add-ons with more magic spells or items that make it quicker. If that's what you're concerned with.

Well, I'm glad you liked it. I enjoyed it for a while but after trudging around for ages I just got bored out of my mind.

Not only that, but I never found the combat to be particularly interesting.

This game is one of the best RPG's of all time , how dare you say such rubbish. An expansion is not what we want though, we want another sequel. Played Morrowind to death, and loved every minute of it, but it's gone now and I want something new. Expansions for FPS's is okay, but for Rpg's is kinda of dumb unless they add a complete world to play in. Bloodmoon just adds another island, kind of like Tribunal, which isn't enough content for a game I played for months. Morrowind 2 is what I want, with an entire continent to roam around in.

I love RPG's but this one should have won The Most Boring Game of the Year award. Neat story, but endless hiking back and forth really ruined it.
