both a Civilization
III Demo and a Civilization
III Game of the Year Edition Demo offering the chance to sample either
version of the strategy game restricted by a 60 minute time limit. Thanks Civilization

Weird to see most people enjoyed Civ 3, as I thought the game was pretty awful. Not as deep/complex than Civ2 or Alpha Centauri, most of the game was dumbed down (especially in city management), and things like absolutely insane corruption were totally unbalanced and ruined the game IMO. Plus when you get at the end of a game ,the computer turns are painfully slow. I wish Brian Reynolds was still at Firaxis, Civ 3 would have turned into a good game.
