Sam & Max Freelance Police

The Sam & Max Freelance Police Website is the expected unveiling of the upcoming sequel to Sam & Max Hit the Road, offering screenshots and a movie from the game. Here's the deal:
Spring 2004 marks the return of interactive entertainment's most freakishly adored dog and bunny tag team, as LucasArts unleashes Sam & Max Freelance Police™ onto an unsuspecting Windows PC game buying public. The long-rumored follow up to the critically acclaimed adventure classic Sam & Max Hit the Road® plunges Sam & Max™ into a whimsical miasma of fur-flying action, hare-pulling puzzles, and unnerving cross-species jocularity.

That's what I call a cool trailer :).
Can't wait for this sequel because I played through Hit The Road quite a few times and never again did I experience such a brilliant humour. You're certainly on the right track, Lucasarts.

However I don't agree that Loom should have a sequel (not that I don't like the game), but I can only encourage Lucasarts to think about doing a sequel to Outlaws. It's soundtrack, leveldesign and fun factor need still to be beaten by any game.

Somebody really needs to make another western themed FPS. I guess they feel if there is no rocket launcher, nobody would be interested.

As for Sam & Max... maybe it's just me, but get the feeling that this really should have been cel-shaded. This is one of the few subject matters that would have benifited from it.

Since they're bringing back these great games, I'd love to see a remake of Outlaws. That was a seriously great game, very atmospheric - a sequel using a modern engine with the same type of great musical score would be great.

I've always wondered if the little white rabbit in Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail was somehow based on Max

Looks good, and it sounds like the same guys are back doing the voices from the first game.

Move over Halo, Doom3 and Half Life 2, Hello Sam and Max!

Oh won't you come and marry me,

Ah, Sam & Max. I've missed you.
