Stranger?

<eyeing you suspiciously>

Who are you?!?

Heh; if you are so interested, I can forward them to you.

I think spam is both stupid and quite offensive. Still, it just amazes me how far people will go, how low their standards are, and how anything is fair game to them. You already know my stance on the hairless apes humans killing each other, but it really did blow my mind the first time I saw it.

It really amazes me.

Realizing its faults, but having fun playing Enclave,
Ray

Hey stranger!

You said:
"Watch Iraqi Women Being Raped by U.S. Forces."

I use one hotmail account for Ebay and another for subscription sites. They both get hammered with at least 100-150 spam msgs a day.

I've never seen a message like the one you refer to.

And I'm glad I don't. That is pure pond scum there.

Bah!

Just edit your post, add a red removed line, and then start - but do not finish - an invisible text bracket. That last part will effectively hide the "This message was edited at..." line.

Having to wait two more days to see The Matrix: Reloaded :(,

...hate - well, hate more than my normal level of hate - is the truly offensive Iraq-based spam. As if things are not bad enough in the world, why do we need people capitalizing off of claims such as "Watch Iraqi Women Being Raped by U.S. Forces."

Rolling my eyes,
Ray

About the same time I started getting ActiveX warnings every time I hit www.bluesnews.com, fortunatly I block all that crap, but its annoying to know execution of some app is being attempted. What applets are attempting to run here?

I watch Boston Public, it's a good show, but shame on them for spamming. I hope this dosen't start a trend, I'd scream if I started getting spam from every stupid "reality" show on tv to watch them.

I got my Time magazine today and they had a review of the movie. Apparently, they didn't like it too much. The gave it mediocre marks. Hopefully, it's just them...

Boo-hoo. You can't use your scroll wheel until you click on the page? The horror, the HORROR!

Blue, for about a week and a half now, when I visit bluesnews.com, I can't use my scroll wheel to scroll the page until after I click in the page. Sometimes I have scroll-ability when the page first loads, but as I skim the first 2 or 3 stories, I lose it and have to click in the page again to get it back. Its as if something is taking my mouse focus out of the window. It doesn't happen on any other sites I visit, just this one.

I also tried using the traditional UP, DOWN, PAGEUP, and PAGEDOWN arrows on the keyboard as well as the space bar to scroll, but to no avail- until I click in the window again.

I did notice this in the status bar:
"Applet Measure started"

Any idea what this is?

I'm using IE5.5 under win2k, but it also happens with IE6sp1 under XP.

That's why I hate not having manual roll-down windows in cars anymore. Imagine if the Thai guy had gone into the water? Doors won't unlock, can't roll the windows down, can't kick them out from inside?

Just watch out for the followup spam from Bobby Brown: he accuses you of sleeping with her, and giving her drugs and is upset because he didn't get any.
