EVE Patch [May 06, 2003, 11:56 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
The first patch for EVE Online: The Second Genesis is now available, updating
CCP's just-launched MMORPG to build 1000. The game should be able to
automatically update itself, but for those having problems with this the patch
has been mirrored on 3D
Gamers and Worthplaying.
The way I figure it, there was a problem that popped up with skill training at the last moment, and you're complaining because CCP brought out a patch to fix it about as soon as they could.
Complain away about the problems, but I think it's a little silly to be complaining about CCP trying to fix them as soon as possible.

edit: appears that this news story is the gold to live patch, rather than the post live patch (1000-1002), which makes it even more ridiculous to complain about. I don't think you have or will see a single MMOG that doesn't patch out of the box.
