The first patch for EVE Online: The Second Genesis is now available, updating CCP's just-launched MMORPG to build 1000. The game should be able to automatically update itself, but for those having problems with this the patch has been mirrored on 3D Gamers and Worthplaying.

For the last couple months of the beta we were seeing 1 or 2 patches a week. Since this game never should have left beta, you should probably continue seeing a patch a week for the next few months. Hopefully they'll start actually testing the patches before they release them too. Up til now, each new patch has introduced at least a couple new serious bugs.
