Yea,
Yet again some kewl things in a bland genre.....yes the tigers did look good(very)and yes birds we great..I ran this game at 1600x1200 4x aa 16 af and all max and i must say very nice lookin game did not get the jerky movements but....well its like this Old age is like everything else. To make a success of it, you've got to start young.
Somehow somewhere that makes the whole thing uh ....nevermind stuff is kickin in...I hope im not busy for 2 - 3 days heeh

Ironically, it doesn't.

The game handles very badly, something about the player movements which is just off. Perhaps the jerky movements I could let my character make are referred to, but it's certainly not what one would expect when they tell you the game 'rocks'. Otherwise the game is a decent SS ripoff. I especially like the tigers and the birds (right until they start dropping their fireball turds).
Some cool special effects on that temple thing.

I had the Tukati thing running at 300k then it dipped to now 30k and dropping. I've been at "5 minutes left" for close to 20 minutes now

Fileshack where are you when I need you...

Exactly what is this thing anyways? I've run it before, and it seems to work well, but is it really doing P2P transfers? Am I invisibly sending chunks of the file out myself? With Will Rock, I was getting insane speeds for the first 70%, we're talking 2.5 megs per second, which is about 2 and a half times the norm for me (cable modem). It just kinda dropped out, now it's chugging along at a still acceptable 300k/s. So if nothing else, it sure works well. Does this FileFront thing have any spyware on it or anything?

I'm talking about the site itself, not downloading files from the site. The pages themselves are taking over a minute to load on my dsl. It used to be as fast as any other site for me, maybe it has something to do with the updated design (which does look nicer, btw).

Thanks - that layout was launched in January though, so if you didn't have problems until recently, that can't be the reason. We're also not seeing any server load or bandwidth problems on our end. Did you try a traceroute to our server? Maybe you've got some bad routing from your end.

That wouldn't have made any sense, since the demo is already released..

Its always been very slow for me. This is the first time I ever got more than 100k sec from the site.

Of course I could be wrong... but really, what are the chances of that happening twice?

Anyone else disappointed that the headline wasn't Demo Will Rock?

Or relieved?

Over the last week or more the 3D Gamers pages have been really slow to load for me. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm not complaining about the site at all, just wondering if the problem is on my end.

Anyone getting a slow download should check out the "tukati" downloading client on 3DGamers. I'm getting almost 300k a sec
