Beta Testing of Counter-Strike Neo on UKTerrorist translates the account of a Japanese beta tester who describes checking out C-S Neo, the upcoming version of Counter-Strike on arcade machines. Thanks BarrysWorld.

"The 'arcade' boxes look suspiciously like a chair, a monitor, and a keyboard/mouse."

You didn't think they'd try to run CS on a System 22 board do you!? <Giggle>

"Is Namco the only supplier of arcade machines now? "

You'd think so - but I think that they are the only ones still left in the business of running chain arcades except for destination locations like Dave and Busters. Of course, D&B Nyack has a healthy supply of Namco games in addition to some old Sega classics. Even old faithfuls like Ms Pac Man are owned by Namco, which almost makes you wonder if they are going to turn into the Microsoft of the arcades!
